I began training with Percell in July 2015 and from day one he made it clear he was committed to my fitness success – he was almost cocky about it. In 12 sessions, I have lost 18 lbs. My original goal was to improve my balance, due to a condition that I have, and of course lose weight. But what I’ve gotten in these past 12 sessions has been priceless. The other day I was working out with an 18 lbs medicine ball. I couldn’t believe the coincidence – that’s exactly how much weight I had lost in basically 6 weeks. Percell is a great motivator who executes–period.
At first I was terrified (have you seen Percell’s workouts on Instagram?! – he’s a beast!), but he’s also very knowledgeable and flexible. He would often answer my questions and address my concerns, thoughtfully and patiently. He motivates me to win, but he also doesn’t treat me like just another athlete. He treats me like a person. Yes, I curse him out during every session, but it’s all LOVE. He’s pushing me out of my comfort zone because he knows I can do it, even when I don’t think I can. At the end of the day that’s what you want in a trainer – someone that is not going to judge you, no matter how much you weigh, how slow you are, how much you hate running, or how hung-over you feel after a late night – he’s still going to push you!
Every session is new, vibrant and engaging. He answers all of my questions with such patience and knowledge. If I come in and say; this is bothering me, or I want to work on this today: He gets I need that. Percell is an excellent trainer – he’s super patient and he shows up to each session READY TO WORK. I encourage anyone looking to get their sh*t together, join the #GOODWRK. He is worth every penny because Percell will be one of the best investments you ever make.
"I know this is going to sound like hyperbole and good golly it would be amazing if I was gifted in mula for the good words I'm about to spew, so let me just preface my praise for Percell by saying this all comes from the heart. I've worked with a trainer in the past, but had to deal with negative vibes, lack of positive reaffirmation and some suspect assisted "stretches." Naturally, Percell is one of the most intelligent, personable, patient, adaptable and health-happy human beings I've ever met in my life. Training with him is fun and effective as hell! He's extremely motivating and knowledgeable when it comes to both fitness and food, plus he's a great guy for folks who can't stand monotony like me. I would recommend him to anyone".
The best thing about Percell is that he is genuinely passionate about his craft. He’s not using training to pay the bills while he works on his acting career. He is fully committed to growing his knowledge and understanding within the fitness field. He really loves what he does, training and helping clients reach their goals no matter what they are, and that sincerity and knowledge comes through in his workout sessions and his writings. I’ve made more progress training with him in 2 months, than I have with any other trainers I’ve worked with. I have worked out on my own for years, with great results. I thought I was at my best, that was, until I started working with Percell.
"Sooo I don't know about all you other guys but i'm over the whole video vixen/bartender/thot personal trainer fusion taking place on social media. Percell is legit. He knows his stuff, and was always willing to explain why the workouts we were doing were important, instead of taking the traditional "do what I say b/c i'm the trainer" approach. Above all things, I appreciated him being honest with me when I needed to focus. He was never disrespectful, but the timing of his stern approach was impeccable. Great trainer, but he's an even better dude".
I have been a competitive athlete all my life and I've had dozens of coaches & trainers. Percell knew the right workouts I needed to help me progress and transition from a Lacrosse player in college to a member of the U.S National Team in my sport. He curated a unique fitness plan that maximized my efforts and didn't waste my time.
